活動目的：修習本課程之同學九成為歐洲學生，他們對於台灣本土文化的認識粗淺，因此透過本校外教學，讓外籍與台灣學生理解台灣在歷史上的中國性質、日本性質、當代多元移民社會性質，從而理解中國未來前往多元文化的世界舞台之時將會如何應對華人文化的結構轉移，並且預測中國政經與社會發展的長期歷史方向。政治上台灣不是中國的一部分，但是台灣就是一個小小的中國，理解台灣讓我們更容易理解中國。

Postgraduate students who take China’s Political Economy and Social Development Course

Purpose:

The students taking China’s Political Economy and Social Development Course are mainly from Europe. They know little about the culture of Taiwan. Politically, Taiwan in not a part of China; however, Taiwan is a little China. Understanding Taiwan makes the students easier to understand China. Therefore, this field trip provides students with an opportunity to understand the history of Taiwan and then predict future China’s political economy and social development.
